UCMS Group Enhances Protection of its Business and Customers’ Data from Cyber Threats

The realities of development of IT dictate high requirements to companies-operators of sensitive data in terms of protection from cyber threats, in particular to measures of rapid response to possible leakage and data breach, as well as to measures of addressing the negative consequences.

UCMS Group strengthened its response capacity through the acquisition of an insurance policy against the risks of cyber threats in the amount of approximately 200 mln. rubles, which applies to cases where, for reasons beyond the control of the company, may occur leakage or breach of confidential information, virus infection or computer network damage as well as other situations that can harm the business and the reputation of the company.

It is worth noting that cyber-security insurance, as well as professional liability insurance is a distinctive feature of high-class outsourcing providers. UCMS Group leads projects in major international companies with headcount exceeding thousands of people, which imposes a special responsibility to ensure the safety of the confidential data.

We also take comprehensive measures to protect information, including encryption and data storage in the data center on the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the Federal Law №152-FZ “On personal data”.
